Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Available

Introduction:

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding process specifications.

  • Set up welding machines based on job requirements.

  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

  • Operate hand and power tools to prepare metal surfaces for welding.

  • Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet industry standards.

  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion within deadlines.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.

  • Certification in welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG) is preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Proficiency in operating welding equipment and tools.

  • Knowledge of different types of metals and their welding characteristics.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, ARC).

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve welding-related problems.

  • Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE requirements.

  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.

  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Noise levels can be high due to operating machinery like shears and press brakes.

  • Gloves and safety glasses are required due to sharp metal edges and flying debris.

  • Strict adherence to safety protocols for handling heavy machinery and equipment.
